History/Background: Late Night Woman's Hour is a spin-off from the long-running BBC Radio 4 daily magazine programme, Woman's Hour. It began broadcasting in 2015 on a limited basis but was so popular that it began to be a monthly basis until 2018 where it became a weekly podcast and is hosted by Emma Barnett (occasionally with founder Lauren Laverne) and features other female guests.
Themes/subjects covered: the subjects covered on the podcast are relevant to its female audience and used to be originally broadcasted at 11 pm which meant explicit conversations could be had but since it became a weekly podcast the show has become less explicit and controversial
