Media Research - Magazine

I have chosen to analyse "Comic-con" magazine as it links in with the sci-fi genre which links with my coursework.

Instantly the typical conventions within magazines are presented like the masthead also the front cover having close ups of characters and is insinuated that these are characters in an American television show "Supernatural" and the colour scheme of the magazine helps people quickly understand what genre and style the magazine is predominantly focusing on the sci-fi genre having bright vaporwave aesthetic this design helps attract its targeted audience which is a younger more tech-savvy demographic the bright colours also making it stand out in the rows of other magazines.

Media Research - Mockumentary

A similar mockumentary to mine is The Fourth Kind (2009) is an alien abduction mockumentary which involves an unsolved mystery in Alaska involving an unordinary amount of disappearances and accusations of a federal coverup. My mockumentary focuses on multiple accusations of alien encounters.
